You can now watch interviews with the curators and artists of the major exhibition “Breaking the Joints” on Sapieha Palace Vimeo channel. In these conversations, the creators share insights about their work, the pieces featured in the exhibition, their artistic processes, and their relationship with the space, Vilnius, and Lithuania. It’s an opportunity to look at the exhibition from within – to hear how ideas are born, how they connect with historical and cultural contexts, and how the language of animation becomes a way to rethink the relationship between body, matter, and movement.
“Breaking the Joints” is a group exhibition and event series exploring the representation of the body in the history of animation and its reflections in contemporary art practices. The exhibition is open at Sapieha Palace until 31 December 2025.
