PROGRAMME
12:00–20:00
The exhibition Interviews with the Monster by Eva Kot’átková is open to visitors in the North Gallery of the palace. The display of the history of Sapieha Palace, along with other first-floor spaces, will also be accessible.
14:00–16:00 – Workshop: Emotional Jackets
Exhibition and Education Space, First floor
Led by Eva Kot’átková
Clothing acts as a second skin – a layer that can show how we feel and what we experience, what we desire or dream about. In this workshop, which accompanies Interviews with a Monster, we will create emotional jackets – garments designed as a means to express things that are otherwise difficult to articulate. Using clothing details as storytelling tools, we will share personal experiences through fabric and form. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of age or artistic background.
Please register for the workshop here.
18:00 – Special Screening of the Moving Images at Sapieha Palace programme & Artist Talk
Join us for a special screening of Eva Kot’átková’s film Stomach of the World (2017). This surreal yet humorous film explores the world from a child’s perspective, where young performers enact a sequence of exercises, imagining the world as a body that consumes and transforms everything it ingests.
A discussion with the artist will follow the screening.
All events will be conducted in English.
Please note: photography and/or filming may take place during the event. By attending, you consent to the use of photos and videos on social media and other platforms.
