‘From the ruins of the ruins, the great palace will protect the war-weary in peace’ – this is the Latin inscription that greets everyone who walks through the doors of the Sapieha Palace. Could the palace have been a refuge for the people who built it? Does anyone still live there? During the family tour, you will hear stories about nobles and monks, plants and even mythical animals. You’ll also learn about the invisible inhabitants that now inhabit the walls of the building.
