Educational activity for children ‘Don’t get lost in the palace’ (Grades 1–6)

Photo: Audrius Solominas

Duration: 50 min.

How many rooms did a rich noble couple surrounded by servants need? How long did it take guests of the palace to reach the Sapieha family due to the numerous rooms they needed to pass through between the entrance and the master’s study? The Sapieha Palace, the centrepiece of the Antakalnis suburb, tells the story of the somewhat strange and unusual life of the nobility in the past. We invite children to take on the role of a palace guest and time travel to the Sapieha’s home.

The educational activities on the given dates are in Lithuanian. In case you’d like to book it in English, please reach out: rumai.edu@cac.lt, or consider our regular Highlights tours in English, which are about Sapieha Palace’s history, conservation and current exhibitions, but are not designed for children.
